Episode 1 Look At Me

Four months have passed since the last visit to Sim
Street. It's present day and rain is pouring down on
Riverside. Paul has some bad news for Lisa. Steve Townie
has returned to Sim Street with his fiancι Andrea after
two years away. Kate, Lexi and Lou organise a dinner
party, Lexi volunteers to host it and invites the whole
street. A surprise guest turns up at the party
unannounced. Elsewhere, Rachel Stone retires from the
modelling world and leaves for Riverside with husband
Julian and we find out what happened next when Kerry and
Lauren came face to face at the end of series 4.
Episode 2 I Do, You Do Wednesday 12th
March

It's the day of Steve and Andrea's wedding and the
afternoon goes without a hitch, almost. Almost a year on
from her sons death, Paula is still struggling to get
back to normality and the situation is having a
devastating effect on her marriage. Paul's parents -
Rupert and Joan - visit their son and grandchildren but
have no nice words for their daughter-in-law Lisa. After
months of keeping quiet, Ben finally opens up to Lou
about why he's been feeling so low. The mystery
surrounding new neighbours Julian and Rachel deepens as
Elsa Kay makes an unexpected appearance at Steve and
Andrea's wedding party.
Episode 3 Id Rather Be Alone Wednesday 19th March

Kate decides
to become independent again and gets a job interview and
puts an offer on a house in Sim Street. Kerry starts to
find prison life a struggle. A welcome home party is
thrown for Lauren. Lisa falls into dangerous territory.
Rik and Lexi have a small argument leading to an
unexpected outburst from Lexi. An unwanted and
unexpected guest from the past turns up at Lauren's
party.
Episode 4 Flashes of Before

The secrets are coming out and the relationships are
hotting up in the fourth episode of series 5. Rachel
struggles to escape the past as a series of flashbacks
reveal why Julian and Rachel ran away from their past life. Kate uncovers the shocking
secret of one of her neighbours. Lou worries she may
never marry Ben or have his children. Lauren and Steve
have a heart to heart over a few too many glasses of
wine.

The residents start to
organise the annual Riverside Spring Ball but Lisa and
Kate clash at the meeting. Lexi warns Rik not to get too
caught up in his work.. Ben is put under increased
pressure to tell Lou he doesn't want to have children.
Lisa finds herself being bullied by her mother-in-law -
but she finds the silver lining to the trauma when her
neighbours stand up for her. Julian panics as Elsa
confronts him over Joanna's disappearance. Kate goes on
a date with her manager, Phil. Elsa receives a
mysterious phone call that intrigues her.
