8.45am
Lou: Rumours can travel so fast, especially in small
neighbourhoods like the one we live in.
Ben: Yeah.
Lou: Everyone knows the smallest details about each other...
Ben: Are you trying to go somewhere?
Lou: I'm just saying people are talking about us.
Ben: In what kind of way? A good way I hope.
Lou: There are rumours.
Ben: Rumours...?
Lou: That you didn't come back to Riverside because you
cared for me. You did it because of another reason.
Ben: What? Well that's ridiculous!
Lou: Is it?
Ben: Of course. Why would you think any different? It's only
a rumour.
Lou: Rumours bug me though. Ever since I was in high school
they have.
Ben: Why? What happened in high school?
Lou: A rumour spread around the school that I kissed a
teacher. It lost him his job.
Ben: Was the rumour true?
Lou: No. Which is exactly my point - rumours are horrible
things and they can ruin lives.

12.32pm
Lexi: Just a few more weeks to go
and I’ll be Mrs. Hill.
Rik: That reminds me, do you have any preference for
where the honeymoon is? Or should I just surprise you?
Lexi: You haven’t booked the honeymoon yet?
Rik: Well, no. But I will do it this week. Is that a
problem?
Lexi: I just think you’re maybe leaving it a bit
late, that’s all.
Rik: Oh, right.
Phyllis: You should go somewhere classy.
Rik: I was thinking of somewhere like Tenerife, or
maybe somewhere in Spain like Madrid.
Phyllis: I said classy, not common.
Lexi: Yeah, I agree with Phyllis, for once. Our
honeymoon should be somewhere special. Not just any place we
can go for a normal holiday. Thank God you hadn’t booked it
already.
Rik: Okay sure.
Lexi: Are you still going to be able to book the
holiday?
Rik: Yeah.
Lexi: Okay. Well I’m away upstairs to feed our
daughter and the dog.
See you guys later.
Phyllis: Bye.
Rik: Phyllis, you’ll help me book the perfect holiday
location?
Phyllis: I’m helping you even if you don’t want me
too. As much as I may dislike Lexi at times you are not
taking her to Tenerife for a honeymoon!

Jackie: I was
thinking.
Ben: What now?
Jackie: Do you think they’ll ever catch Kerry? Y’know,
the woman I befriended back in New York.
Ben: Don’t know. I imagine she’ll be caught
eventually. She can only hide in so many places.
Jackie: Just think, she could be back in Riverside at
this very moment.
Ben: Don’t be silly.
Jackie: She could be! It wouldn’t surprise me.
Ben: She’s probably died her hair another colour, had
plastic surgery and living in some warm country for the
summer.
Jackie: You know, I wouldn’t mind catching up with
her. She may be a killer or whatever but she was nice.
Ben: Yeah. I was surprised when she was exposed as
being a killer…
Jackie: Talking of killers, here’s one now!
Ben: Mother! Ssshh!

Phyllis: Did I just
hear Phyllis call Lisa a killer?
Rik: That’s what I heard. I do…
Phyllis: Sssshh. Here’s Lisa.
Lisa: Hi.
Rik: Hi Lisa.
Phyllis: Rik, I have to leave. I’m taking Seth into
hospital. Can you cover the pub for the rest of the
afternoon?
Rik: Yeah, sure. And it's nothing serious I hope?
Phyllis: No, just a check up. We could be away
overnight though.
Rik: Okay Phyllis. See you tomorrow,
or whenever.

Lisa: Paul, hi.
Paul: I thought you might be here.
Lisa: Aren't you supposed to be at work?
Paul: I'm taking a half day.
Lisa: Oh right, okay.
Paul: So I was thinking we could do something fun. If
you're up for that?
Lisa: Yeah sure.
Paul: Unless you already had plans?
Lisa: No. I mean yeah, I have plans but I can cancel.
Paul: What were you planning on doing?
Lisa: Oh nothing important.
Paul: Okay. No need to be so secretive though.
Lisa: Huh?
Paul: I've just noticed recently how you've kept
yourself to yourself. You haven't been giving much away at
all. Very unlike you.
Lisa: I can't say I've noticed any change in myself.

4.23pm
Lou: Any plans for tonight?
Ben: None.
Lexi: You could help me organise my hen party, Lou?
Lou: Another day. I'd rather do something fun tonight.
Rik: That reminds me, I asked Steve to be my best man at the
wedding and he accepted.
Lexi: That's great news. I have Lou and Kate as my
bridesmaids.
Lou: Okay well while you two talk about your wedding I'm off
to get a drink before you depress me.
Lexi: Oh fine, we'll stop.
Lou: I'm still going to get a drink.
Rik: We could go out to that nightclub down the road
tonight.
Ben: No.
Rik: Why?
Ben: I'm, err, not into nightclubs.
Rik: What? Since when?
Ben: Em Lexi, why don't you go and help Lou with the
drinks?
Lexi: Sure.

Ben: I have a surprise
planned for Lou. It needs to happen here, in Sim Street.
Rik: Oh, okay.
Lexi: Do you guys think we should invite Kate over?
Rik: Ye...
Ben: No, she's busy.
Lexi: Okay, I just thought.
Ben: Before you ask Rik, Kate's in on the surprise as well.

Dr. Jensen: I'm very
surprised you all survived the crash earlier this month. Not
many people fall 60ft in a car and survive.
Henry: I don't think my wife is surviving.
Dr. Jensen: She's fine and healthy.
Henry: I don't mean physically. Ever since our son, Steven,
was shot she has been depressed. She's never smiled since. I
think she needs help.
Dr. Jensen: Perhaps a psychiatrist would be of help.
Henry: Yes.
Dr. Jensen: Have you brought the topic up with your wife?
Henry: Once. It didn't go down well.
Dr. Jensen: Do you think it might be a good idea to have a
doctor, like myself, approach her?
Henry: That's probably a good idea. Maybe wait for a couple
of weeks though. She's just getting out of hospital today
so maybe it would be best to let her settle back into home
before the topic is brought up with her.
Dr. Jensen: Whatever you think is best. Just give us a call
whenever you're ready.
Henry: Thanks.

9.12pm
Rik: You are soooooo drunk.
Lexi: No you are.
Rik: No you.
Lexi: You're the most drunkest.
Rik: No, you're the most drunkest, Delia.
Lexi: What? Who's Delilah?

Lou: I think we should get
out of here.
Ben: That might be a good idea. I don't want to be here when
Rik realises that they've both drank most of the contents of
the bar.
Lou: Or when Lexi realises that Rik called her Delia.
Ben: Lets go.
Lou: But where to?
Ben: I have an idea.
Lou: Oh do you?
Ben: Yes. Just follow me. Now come on.

Lisa: Oh. Sorry. I thought
the pub was open.
Lou: We closed it for the night.
Lexi: Look Rik - it's the killer. Ooooooooh.
Rik: Sssssshhhhhhhhhhh.
(Silence)

Lisa: Word, or should that be rumours, travel fast around
here, eh?
Lou: They didn't mean that.
Lisa: Maybe not but they still said what the entire street
is thinking.
Ben: Nobody thinks you're a killer, Lisa.
Lisa: Well then why have I been getting strange looks all
day?
(Silence)
Lisa: I think that silence answers my questions. At least I
know what people really think of me.
Lou: No, we don't.
Lisa: Goodnight!

Rik: Oh! Lexi falls.
Lexi: (Cries)
Ben: I think it might actually be a good idea to stay here
and clean them up.
Lou: Yeah.

Lisa: We need to go.
Paul: Where?
Lisa: Away. Now.
Paul: But we only just moved back here.
Lisa: I know. But it's not safe. We need to move away again.
Paul: Lisa, what's happened to you?
Lisa: We just need to go!
Paul: Not until you tell me what's happening with you.

Kate: Tah da!
Jackie: It's beautiful. You've spent all night doing this?
Kate: Yes. Do you think they'll like it?
Jackie: Definitely.
Kate: I'll just give Ben a phone right now.

Ben and Lou have been asleep
for the past 30 minutes.
(Phone rings)

Ben: Hello.
Kate: It's me. It's all ready.
Ben: Oh, okay. I'll be right over now.
Lou: What? Where are we?
Ben: We're in the lounge room of the pub.
Lou: Oh. And who was that?
Ben: Nobody. Just a wrong number.
Lou: Okay, now come back to sleep.
Ben: No, we need to go.
Lou: Where?
Ben: Follow me.

Lou: Oh my God... Ben!
Ben: Do you like it?
Lou: It's beautiful!
Ben: Then thank Kate. She spent all night doing it.
Lou: I love it.

Ben: Lou, I love you.
Lou: And I love yo...
Ben: Sssh. I love you, Lou. You're the only woman I've ever
truly loved. Words can't describe how I feel about you so
I'll put them into actions. After all, actions speak louder
than words.

Ben: Lou Parker... will you
make me the happiest man alive and be my wife?

Lou: Oh Ben! Yes! Of course I will!

Paul: Is it about you being
called a killer?
Lisa: How do you know?
Paul: Somebody told me. Rumours have been travelling
around all day.
Lisa: It's hard to explain. You must promise not to tell
anybody.
Paul: Promise.
Lisa: You remember that guy, he was called Rob.
Paul: Yes.
Lisa: It's him. (Sobs) I killed him.
Paul: No you didn't.
Lisa: I did. (Cries). On Christmas day almost two years ago.
I pushed him. I pushed him from the balcony.
Paul: I know you did but he only fell one storey onto snow..
You didn't kill Rob, Lisa. Somebody else did. I saw them.
