8.45am Berlin, Germany
Two months have passed since the shooting incident in Sim
Street.
Bartender: So, how long you planning on living a life
of luxury here?
Kerry: As long as I can.
Bartender: You must be wealthy lady then - this hotel
is not cheap.
Kerry: My husband was a very rich man. And I just
happen to have very expensive tastes.
Bartender: And you happen to be very expensive too.
Kerry: Excuse me?
Bartender: I have heard you charge over two thousand
Euros a night.
Kerry: How dare...
Bartender: Do not pretend you are not.
Kerry: Okay, fine. I am. It's the only way I can get
an income at the moment.
Bartender: Don't worry, your secret's safe with me. I
won't let the other staff members know. Now what room are
you staying in?
Kerry: Room 312. My schedule's free from 10pm onwards
so any time after that is fine.

9.34am Sim Street
Phyllis: It's getting
closer.
Lexi: Huh?
Phyllis: Your wedding.
Lexi: Oh, yeah. How could I forget? (Laughs)
Phyllis: Yes, well, I hope you have everything
planned. Don't want anything going wrong on the big day.
Lexi: It's all planned. I can't believe in just a
months time I'll be Mrs Lexi Hill.
Phyllis: You must be so happy. I remember when I
married Seth. Long time ago.
Lexi: I hope Rik and I are together a long time.
Phyllis: I'm sure you will be.
Lexi: Thanks.

Lexi: I think we will
be as well.
Phyllis: Is everything fine between you at the
moment?
Lexi: Yeah. Why wouldn't it be?
Phyllis: Oh no reason.
Lexi: Well, there is one thing. He keeps asking if
I'm regaining any of my lost memory.
Phyllis: Ah.
Lexi: You know something?
Phyllis: Perhaps. He was asking me what I knew about
Delia.
Lexi: Why?
Phyllis: Because before Delia was killed she said
that she met you. But you've obviously lost that part of
your memory.
Lexi: Oh. Well I don't know what to do.

Henry: Paula... you haven't been to bed have you?
(Silence)
Henry: Paula I wish we could talk about what
happened. You haven't been yourself since what happened.
(Silence)
Henry: I'm going to the kitchen, I'll make you some
breakfast.

Ben: Mother, how are
you?
Jackie: My back still hurts from the surgery but I'm
coping.
Ben: Good. I don't know what I would've done if I'd
lost you two months ago.
Jackie: Hmm. I'm sure you would've been celebrating.
Ben: Mum! No. How can you say that?
Jackie: You're unhappy.
Ben: What makes you say that?
Jackie: Ever since that damned shooting day you've
had to care and look after me. I've taken the spotlight away
from Lou.
Ben: I still see Lou.
Jackie: Not as much as you used to though.
Ben: True, but we're still happy.
Jackie: But your relationship's going nowhere.
Ben: It is, it's moving along, just at a slow pace.
When I'm finished caring for you I'll be back to normal.
Jackie: I've been well for nearly a few weeks now.

Ben: No you haven't.
Jackie: Yes I have. I can walk about fine. I can care
for myself now.
Ben: No.
Jackie: Why are you so scared to go back to Lou? You
used to live together. Ever since April you've been living
back here with me.
Ben: Because I love her.
Jackie: And that's a reason to stop being with her?
Ben: I don't think she loves me.
Jackie: Of course she does.
Ben: How do you know?
Jackie: We've spoken.
Ben: I thought you didn't like Lou. Now you're
talking to her?
Jackie: She didn't kill your brother - Lisa did.
Lou's alright now.
Ben: Then you approve of our relationship?
Jackie: I have done for a while now.
Ben: Thanks. Would have been nice to know earlier
though.

Kate: I'd love to be
in love the same way you are.
Lou: Aw Kate, I'm sure you'll find true love someday.
But things aren't so great with Ben.
Kate: Hopefully. And what do you mean?
Lou: Well thing's are great but they're not moving
and we've spent less time together. Ever since his mother
went into hospital and has needed to be cared for.
Kate: I'm sure he still loves you. Plus his mum will
be back on her feet soon.
Lou: I hope so anyway. I miss not having Ben around
all the time.
Kate: But not his mum?
Lou: I never understood her. She was always so
critical of everything.
Kate: She's a bitch basically.
Lou: To put it bluntly, yes.
Kate: I shouldn't gossip but I do sometimes overhear
Jackie when she's around.
Lou: What do you mean?
Kate: Well just before the hostage thing in the pub,
Ben and Jackie were together having dinner.
Lou: Yeah.
Kate: Well she mentioned to Ben that Lisa was a
killer.

Lou: You sure?
Kate: Positive.
Lou: I don't know, why would she be telling Ben that
Lisa's a killer.
Kate: I only overheard part of the conversation.
Lou: I just don't get it. I'm surprised Ben hasn't
mentioned anything - especially if it's true.
Kate: I don't know either but what I do know is that
Jackie's a woman to be wary of. She either knows too much or
likes to create a drama.
Lou: Or both.
Kate: I'm just saying that Ben's alright but his mum
has some influence over him.
Lou: I know.
Kate: If you ever do get really serious with Ben just
make sure his mother isn't involved. If you marry Ben in a
years time you have to remember that it's Ben you're
marrying, not Ben and Jackie. Make sure he knows that.

Ben: Mother I'm just
curious.
Jackie: About what?
Ben: Lisa.
Jackie: What about her?
Ben: Do you still want me to, y'know, kill her?
Jackie: Yes, of course. She must pay for her actions.
Ben: Okay, I understand. Don't you want to confront
her yourself though? Find out why she killed him?
Jackie: No. Lisa's death must look like an accident.
I'm not sure what you could do.
Ben: I'll think of something.
Jackie: Good, I knew I could trust you.

Phyllis: Lexi, are you
alright?
Lexi: I'm fine, just a bit tired. It's just all this
wedding stuff is tiring me out. There's so much to plan and
do.
Phyllis: If you need an extra pair of hands just give
me a shout.
Lexi: I will. But just one question.
Phyllis: And what's that dear?
Lexi: Why are you being so kind?
Phyllis: I'm not quite following.
Lexi: Well ever since the shooting incident here
you've been acting all nice lately. I mean, no offence or
anything, but before you were cruel, nasty...
Rik: Lexi!
Phyllis: Yes, I was a bitch, yes.
Lexi: Then what's changed?
Phyllis: I almost died two months ago. Anyone of us
could have been shot. The experience made me realise how
much of a nasty person I was. It made me change.
Lexi: Good, I suppose.
Phyllis: Hmm, I suppose it is. Now anyway, you needed
a hand with the wedding. What can I do?

Paula is at Steven's grave.
Paula: (Sobs)

Henry: Paula. I
thought you might be here.
Paula: I just needed some time.
Henry: Of course.
Paula: I think I'm ready.
Henry: Ready for what?
Paula: To talk about what happened.
Henry: That's good. It's progress. And progress is
good.
Paula: I suppose.
Henry: Do you want to go home?
Paula: In a minute. I want just a minute more.
Henry: Of course.

Lou: Oh, hi Ben. You
want to come in?
Ben: No.
Lou: Oh. Is everything alright?
Ben: Yes. But we need to talk.
Lou: I asked you to come in.
Ben: No, I was thinking we could talk over dinner.
Sometime later in the week.
Lou: I'm free tomorrow.
Ben: Tomorrow would be brilliant. I'll pick you up at
7pm.
Lou: Ben?
Ben: Yes?
Lou: Are you sure everything's alright?
Ben: Yeah. Don't worry about anything - just make
sure you're looking your best tomorrow night.

Henry has just arrived home
from the supermarket.
Henry: Ben! Have you seen Paula or Amelia?
Ben: What's happened?
Henry: I just got home from the supermarket - the
front door's wide open and Paula's left a note saying
'Goodbye'
Ben: I saw them take off in car, just a few minutes
ago. You could probably catch up with them. Take my car -
they headed towards the beach.
Henry: Thanks.

Henry: Paula?
Paula: Don't come any closer!
Henry: Paula, what's the matter?
Paula: Come any closer and I'll jump.
Henry: No, don't!
Paula: Then stop walking.
Henry: Can't we talk this through? I know you've been
going through a hard time since losing Steven...
Paula: And you haven't!
Henry: I have!
Paula: Then you haven't shown it.
Henry: I've been staying strong - for you.
Paula: I just want us all to be a family again.
Henry: We can be. Just step away from the cliff and
come back.
Paula: I can't.

Henry: You can. Be
strong.
Paula: I really can't.
Henry: Come on.
Paula: Amelia's in the car.
Henry: Then get her out too and both of you come
towards me.
Paula: I want Steven.
Henry: I want him back too.
Paula: A family again. (Cries)
Henry: We can still be that. Now come to me.
Paula: I can't.
Henry: Will you let me come and get you?
Paula: And we can drive away from here as a family?
Henry: Yes, we'll get in the car with Amelia and
drive away together.
Paula: Okay.
Henry: Okay, now I'm walking towards you. Stay calm
Paula: I am.

Henry: Are you okay?
Paula: Yeah (cries)
Henry: Now we can get in the car and go home.

Henry: Amelia, are you
alright?
Amelia: Yes daddy.
Henry: And now we go home.
Paula: As a family.
Henry: Yes, as a family.
Paula: Together.
Henry: Together, always.
Paula: Henry.
Henry: Yes darling.
Paula: I love you.
Henry: I love you too.
Paula: (Cries) And now we can be one happy family
together... with Steven.
Henry: Honey, but you're not about to reverse. That's
the accelerator.
Paula: I know.
Henry: No. No, Paula.
Paula: We'll be together.
Henry: Paula, no.
Paula: I love you both.
