Paula: Henry? Henry?!
Henry: Yes?
Paula: Why are all your things packed away in suitcases upstairs? Are you leaving?
Henry: No, you are.
Paula: Excuse me?
Henry: You have another home that you bought. I thought you'd be dying to move
in so I helped you pack.
Paula: Fine. Where's Amelia?
Henry: She's staying here.
Paula: Oh no she isn't.
Henry: She is - it's her choice.
Paula: It can't be. AMELIA?!

Amelia: What is it mum?
Paula: Is it true? You want to stay here?
Amelia: It's just because I already live here. I don't want to move schools
again or make new friends. I'm settled.
Paula: But...?
Henry: You were the one who wanted to break up, Paula.
Paula: But I said I was taking Amelia with me.
Henry: She's 16 years old now, she's old enough to make her own decisions and
she wants to stay here.
(Silence)
Henry: Well, what are you waiting for?
Paula: Nothing, I'm just...
Henry: Just what?
Paula: Nothing, nothing at all.
Henry: Well maybe you should go now. Amelia's already said she's going to find
it hard to live without you around and she's not the only one who feels that
way.
Paula: You'll miss me too?
Henry: We've been together over 10 years, of course I'll miss you. I love you.
Paula: But...
Henry: But you've made your decision. Please go, I can't stand to be around you
any more because you just remind me of what I can't have. It's too painful.
Paula: Henry?
Henry: Forget it, we're over. Goodbye Paula.

Phyllis: Good afternoon Rik. What brings you
here?

Rik: It's Lexi.
Phyllis: What about her?
Rik: What the hell do you thinks happened? She's killed herself. She took a jar
of pills and alcohol this morning and left a note.
Phyllis: Are you being serious?
Rik: Deadly.
Phyllis: Well you only have yourself to blame, you cheating piece of scum.
Rik: I know I'm not a cheater and so do you but Lexi didn't and now she's gone
to her grave thinking that.
Phyllis: I don't know what to say. I can't say I'm surprised - or sad even.
Rik: You're a cold hearted bitch, Phyllis, and I know you'll do anything to get
what you want.
Phyllis: I can't believe I'm being accused of such things - I never once tried
to split Lexi and you up.
Rik: As if!
Phyllis: Don't blame me, Rik, for breaking up the happy little couple - you did
that all by yourself.
Rik: Lexi's dead now, you can give up the act. You're fooling nobody.

Seth: It's true, Lexi passed away this morning
from an overdose.
Phyllis: Are you sure?
Seth: You know I wouldn't lie to you. I was just talking to the police, I had to
give a statement.
Phyllis: So you mean Lexi actually killed herself?
Seth: Yes.
Phyllis: Gosh, I feel so terrible.
Rik: Why's that Phyllis? You weren't the one in love with her - I was. Now the
only thing I ever cared about in my life is gone and it's all your fault!
Phyllis: If there was any way I could make it up to you?
Rik: Well there isn't, unless you can bring Lexi back from the dead. But you
could at least do the decent thing and admit that you were the one who pushed
Lexi over the edge.
Phyllis: Well, maybe I did try and split both of you up a little bit.
Rik: A little bit? You drugged me - twice!
Phyllis: Well...
Rik: And you pushed Lexi from a roof.
Phyllis: That wasn't me but whoever it was I thank. However after countless
failed attempts I got there eventually.

Lexi: Or so you think.

Phyllis: What?!
Rik: We can play one or two tricks of our own Phyllis.
Phyllis: You conniving bunch of...
Lexi: I have to say I'm surprised you fell for that little scam. I thought you'd
sense something was up. Anyway, it's nice to finally hear the truth.
Phyllis: What are you doing?
Lexi: Rik and I are back together and you are moving out of the pub. You may
have won the battles Phyllis but I have won the war.
Phyllis: I am not moving anywhere.
Lexi: Sorry, I should rephrase that - you have moved out of the pub. Your bags
are packed and Seth has already organised a pick up van.
Phyllis: No.
Rik: Oh yes.
Lexi: If we'd have known it would have been this easy to trick you Phyllis we'd
have done it a long time ago... but now the war's over. No more arguing, no more
fighting. However, well done to you, you put up one hell of a fight.
Rik: Yes, you did. We at least know now why Kerry turned out so bad - and that's
because you certainly taught her well!
Lexi: Catch you around Phyllis.

Kerry: Y'know he's
right. You did teach me well.
Phyllis: Kerry!
Kerry: Hello mum. Long time, no see.

Paul: C'mon, I can't wait to see your costume!
Lisa: In a minute.
Paul: If we're any longer the party will finish, we're already an hour late.
Lisa: It's okay, here I come.

Paul: Wow!
Lisa: You like?
Paul: Most definitely. Now lets get to the party so I can show you off!

Paul: Gee, it's kinda empty in
here.
Lisa: Well, a lot of people have things on - Phyllis had a heart attack,
Paula's moving out and so on.
Paul: You have all the suitcases packed?
Lisa: Yeah, including Katy and Leon's.
Paul: Do they know yet?
Lisa: They have no idea we're moving away yet.
Paul: Do you think it'll be hard to convince them?
Lisa: It might be, I haven't considered it.
Paul: What if they decide to stay?
Lisa: They won't - they can't.
Paul: Maybe we don't have to tell them. We could just tell them we're going to
another party, get them in the car and drive.
Lisa: That might work, actually. It does sound a bit more easier as well.
Paul: Looks like that's the new plan.

Ben: (Sighs) Has anyone (sighs) seen Lou
(sighs)...
Rik: Try and catch your breath, mate.
Ben: ...or Jackie? (Sighs)
Rik: Nope, haven't seen them all day. Is everything alright?
Ben: Yeah, yeah. I'm just looking for them.

Paul: Do you think something's up?
Lisa: How could it be?
Paul: Maybe we should leave earlier than planned?

Jackie: Ah, I wondered where you'd ran off to.
Ben: What have you done to Lou?
Jackie: Nothing she didn't deserve.
Ben: That's not the answer I was looking for.
Jackie: You know Benjamin, I thought that knock I gave you earlier was enough to
knock you out for a while. Obviously I thought wrong.
Ben: Where's Lou? Tell me!
Jackie: I'm only doing what needs to be done. You'll meet Lou again shortly.
Ben: Why? Why have you been ruining my life for the past year? Ever since we
moved here you've been hell personified!
Jackie: You really haven't got it yet have you? And I thought I raised an
intelligent little boy.
Ben: Don't patronise me!
Jackie: Work it out Ben. How many girlfriends have you had? How many of them
have you ever managed to keep in contact with?
Ben: But I didn't care, or want to know. I know one or two just disappeared, no
reason, but it happens.
Jackie: Wake up Ben. They're all dead, all of them.
Ben: I'm not taking anymore crap from you.
Jackie: Fine, don't believe me. Looking in my bedroom might convince you though,
I just happened to take photographs of their graves before tonight.

Ben: You really did do it, didn't you?
Jackie: It was only what you deserved!
Ben: But what about those woman? They were all innocent victims!
Jackie: But they had one major flaw - they fell in love with you.
Ben: I cant believe this. You? You killed all 5 of them?
Jackie: Can't say I'm proud of what I did.
Ben: I'm in shock, I just can't believe it.
Jackie: And I can't believe it's taken you several years to figure it out.
Ben: I just have one question - why?
Jackie: You killed the one person most important to me.
Ben: It was an accident you stupid woman! I was driven off the road! What don't
you understand?!
Jackie: You killed your own father!
Ben: You killed 5, now 6, innocent woman! You're saying what I did,
accidentally, is worse?
Jackie: Of course it is. You killed my husband.
Ben: You really are a cold hearted, selfish bitch.
Jackie: So I suppose you're going straight to the police now?
Ben: Once I've found Lou, yes.
Jackie: I'm not going to let you.

Ben: Oh so you're going to kill me now? Just
like those all those woman. And what about Lisa? I suppose she's next?
Jackie: Oh, not so dumb anymore, are we?
Ben: Well good luck trying to kill me, but I can't see a frail old woman like
yourself doing much harm when I know what's about to hit me.
Jackie: It'll be no problem at all.
Ben: Even your own son? Won't it be a little hard to do? Killing your own son?
Jackie: No, I shouldn't think so... after all, I've done it before.

Ben: What?!

Jackie: I thought that might catch you off
guard.

Kerry: Are you sure you can get
out of bed?
Phyllis: I suffered a heart attack, not a stroke. Now, what are you doing here?
Kerry: I came to see you. I heard what had happened. Are you okay?
Phyllis: Forget me, where the hell have you been? How have you been coping?
Kerry: I didn't know you cared so much.
Phyllis: I don't care but that doesn't mean I'm not interested. So why are you
really here?
Kerry: I'm fed up running. I'm depressed. I just want to go back to the life I
had before.
Phyllis: You've come too far. You're one of the most wanted people in the
country.
Kerry: I know. And that's why I keep running. You have no idea how much I wish I
could go back in time and change things.
Phyllis: You mean you'd actually do things differently?
Kerry: I never chose this life.
Phyllis: We all have to take responsibility for our actions, even you.

Kerry: Do you think my life as
a teenager would have been different if I hadn't met Kate? Of course it would
have been. I would never have run off, I would never have turned to prostitution
and I would have had Lauren as a best friend.
Phyllis: But you had Lauren when you came back to Riverside.
Kerry: But then Kate turned up again - and instead of ruining just my life she
ruined Lauren and Dave's too.
Phyllis: I know, she had an affair with Dave and we all remember that gun incident
in the pub.
Kerry: And now she's living a life back in Sim Street while Dave and Lauren are
six feet under and I may as well be!
Phyllis: Don't say that, people still care about you.
Kerry: Well I don't care about anyone else.
Phyllis: Well then why did you come here? You obviously cared enough about me to
check I'm alright. And how did you know?
Kerry: Dad told me. I saw him last night.
Phyllis: Well if you don't care then I bet you wish this was the end of me.
Kerry: Don't say that - I do love you.
Phyllis: I've never heard you say that before.
Kerry: Well, there's a first for everything. And if you love me you'll let me go
away once again.
Phyllis: Where to?
Kerry: I have a couple of things to do around here first then I'll be gone
again. But this is goodbye to you, I won't be back to Riverside again.

Phyllis: Kerry?
Kerry: Yes mum?
Phyllis: I love you too. (Sobs)

10.14pm
Paul: Right, you ready to go and throw the suitcases into the car?
Lisa: Yeah, I'll go and do that right now.
Paul: Great, I'll try and find the kids and tell them we're leaving for another
party at 11pm.

Jackie: You haven't seen Lisa going around have
you Rik?
Rik: Yeah, she was here just a few minutes ago. I think she just popped
back home.
Jackie: Okay, thanks for your help.

(Mobile phone rings)
Lisa: Not now, I'm busy!
Jackie: Going somewhere Lisa?
Lisa: What? Who's there? Where are you?

Rik: I'm just so happy right now.
Lexi: So am I. I'm glad we've got back together.
Rik: I could be just a little bit happier though.
Lexi: How?
Rik: I'll show you. But we have to leave the street for a while.
Lexi: Who'll look after the pub?
Rik: My dad's upstairs, I'm sure he will.
Lexi: Great, now where are we going? Is it going to be like some Halloween tour
thing?
Rik: It's all a surprise, just follow me.

9.58pm

Jackie: Just a tragic accident
it'll look like. I was going to set Ben up, Lisa, by getting him to kill you but
alas, the little boy refused and decided to play it the hard way.
(Silence)
Jackie: Ben commits
suicide when he discovers his next door neighbour was the one who killed his
brother whilst his girlfriend Lou tries to kill Lisa for causing such
devastation however they both fall to their deaths. That'll be how the story goes
tomorrow in the news. How tragic. And how ironic, it all happens on the very
spot where Lisa originally tried to kill my son.

Jackie: Rest in peace, bitch. And now you Lou.

Kate: Lou! LOU!

Jackie: Lou isn't here at the moment.

Kate: What have you done to
her? And Ben?
Jackie: Nothing that they didn't deserve. It's such a shame you're going to have
to join them now, I kinda liked you, Kate.
Kate: Oh that's what you think.
Woman: I'm not surprised to see you haven't changed your ways, Jackie.

(Gunshot)

Jackie: Gloria!

Ben: Lou! You're
alright!
Lou: Ben! I'm so glad to see you. Your mother - she...
Ben: I know, but it's all over. She's dead. The police and ambulance crew
are downstairs, they've taken her body away.
Lou: What about everyone else - Kate? Lisa?
Ben: Kate's alright, I don't know about Lisa.

Ben: Gloria, you're alive! I thought you were
dead.
Gloria: No, I'm alive, always have been.
Ben: What happened all those years ago then? My mother said she killed
all my ex-girlfriends.
