Episode 5 - Murderous Intentions

Halloween comes once a year to Sim Street and like many things, not everyone stops to savour the atmosphere or think of what it really means. This year, like many others, would just be the same old, same old. Halloween party in the pub and trick or treaters running wild. Or so everyone thought...


Lisa: Morning, your up early, you might actually get to school early for once.
Katy: Oh ha ha, it's not funny.
Lisa: Whatcha doing up so early anyway?
Katy: It's hard trying to sleep when in this house we have paper thin walls and you can everything in the room next door. Please keep the screaming down when your having woohoo with dad mum, some people have to sleep in this household!

Lauren: Aww, you poor thing Kerry.
Kerry: I don't know why he said no, I thought he loved me, we were married before, I just don't get it Lauren.
Lauren: Men are complicated people. I'm sure there's a pretty simple reason behind it all though.
Kerry: Yep, I'm sure there is. Just wish I knew what it was though.
Lauren: So have you been like that all night, in that dress?
Kerry: Yes. (Sighs). Went home late and slept on the sofa and then you came over.
Lauren: Tell you what Kerry hun, let me take you for a day out to get ready for the Halloween party tonight. We'll get our hair done and we still need outfits! C'mon honey, get yourself ready!

Jack: Rik my boy!
Rik: Dad. What do you want?
Jack: Well you see, the decorations aren't up for tonight yet and I'm going...
Rik: I'm not doing it dad, get the girls to do it.
Jack: They're away shopping though, only leaves you.
Rik: And you! I'll do it if you help, I ain't doing it all myself like last year!
Jack: Fine, a deals a deal, lets get started!

Lexi: I'm so glad we've finally moved in together.
Steve: Life is good eh?
Lexi: No. It's brilliant! I was thinking, maybe we should go on holiday, you, me and Alicia.
Steve: The baby as well?
Lexi: I can't leave her with Rik for too long, you wouldn't mind her coming would you?
Steve: No no, just curious, that's all.
Lexi: I was thinking early next year might be a good idea.
Steve: Sounds good, great way to start the new year!

Jess: Aren't you supposed to be at school?
Becky: I took the day off, I'm feeling sick, so what?
Jess: Really?
Becky: Are you accusing me of lying?

Jess: It wouldn't be the first time.
Becky: Do you have a problem with me? What the hell is the matter with you?
Jess: Your mother and I weren't the best of friends, she was a b*tch and you remind me too much of her.
Becky: Please don't insult my dead mother.
Jess: Fine, let's just leave it. Now please, if your well enough to wander around the house, you'll be well enough to do the dishes. C'mon now, chop chop, get to it!
Becky: You don't tell me what to do! Your not my mother!
Jess: I know, I'm not a dead b*tch.
Becky: Well I wish you were!

Jess: Take this!
Becky: Arghh!

Becky: You stupid woman. No wonder my mother hated you!

 

Jess: Oh, and another thing I forgot to tell you Becky: unlike your mother, I always get my way!

 

Lauren: Rik! What do ya think?
Rik: Well, it's definitely a different style Lauren, and you Kerry.
Lauren: Obviously mines just for tonight, I ain't going around with pig tails like this, but Kerry's suits her, don't ya think.
Rik: I don't think I'm somebody in a position to comment on hair but yeah, it looks good, I'm sure Dave will be happy.
Lauren: Ssshhhh! Rik! Shut up
Rik: Something happened?
Lauren: I said shut up Rik.
Kerry: It's okay Lauren, seriously, lets just forget it.
Lauren: So how are you and dad getting on Rik?
Rik: Fine, just a few more decorations and we'll be ready to open tonight.
Lauren: Okay well, me and Kerry better scoot off and get ready. We have some very sexy Halloween costumes (laughs). See ya later bro.

Yes, Halloween comes every year to Sim Street. Ghost and ghouls, witches and witchcraft. All things made to haunt us. And sometimes, old faces are the things that return to haunt us the most...
Kelly: Ooooh, spooky, we're moving into our new home on Halloween
