3 - A Desire to Know |
|
|
|
Everyday
we question our lives and our lifestyles. Are we living the
life we want to live? Or are we living in vain, hoping that
one day, everything will fix itself. Some days, we even find
others question our lives..... |

Lauren:
I honestly don't have a clue sir, my minds gone blank. She
wouldn't ever run away.
PC Langley: The only other option we're thinking of,
is abduction, or even murder.
Lauren: But nobody had a
problem with Angel...
PC Langley: You don't need problems to be murdered or
abducted Lauren.
Lauren: But...
PC Langley: We have to keep our options open Lauren.
With no trace of a body we're currently looking at a
runaway, abduction or murder. We'll keep our options open
though. As you know we've blocked off the entrance to the
your home, we'll want to do the same with the pub and the
club and give them both a thorough search for clues. It's
the best we can do for now. |
|

|
|
|
Lauren: Yeah, sure,
it's necessary, just say when your ready.
PC Langley:
Preferably sometime this morning.
Kerry: Lauren, come on honey, I'll take you home.
PC Langley: We've finished searching your
home, nothing of significance was found, you can return
there if you want.
Lauren: Yep, let's go through the back and leave them
to it. |
|

Lauren wasn't the only
person being questioned that day. Whilst cleaning the
rubbish in my son James's room, Jess came across something
she will wish she hadn't....
Jess: JAMES!
James: Yes?
Jess: You've left your computer on.
James: Just leave it please, I'll be on it again this
afternoon.
Jess: But it's wasting electricity.... |
|

|
|
|
Jess:
Right, time to find out what your up to on the Internet
then.
Whilst searching through James's files and looking back over
his Internet history, Jess isn't too happy with what she
sees.
Jess: Oh my! Somebody has a been a naughty boy, a
very naught boy indeed. |

12.45pm
Kerry:
Lauren babes, I'm sure nothing bad has happened to Angel.
Lauren: I just don't know Kerry, she would never run
off, she hasn't been having problems at all. We tell each
other everything and she never mentioned any trouble.
Kerry: I know. But it's best to keep our, and more
importantly your, hopes up.
Lauren: I'll try, I'm a strong person, I've coped
with a lot in my life, I just don't know what I'd do I found
out that I'd lost Angel.
Kerry: All we can do is wait.
Lauren: I know, but what happens if.... |
|

|
|
|
Kerry:
Don't say it Lauren, I'm sure she's fine.
Lauren: I just don't know what to do.
Kerry: Come here, you need a big hug. |
|

|
|
|
Jess:
Your father and I have
something to ask you about.
Angus: Correction Jess, you do.
Jess: Yes well, you'll back me
up on this.
James: What've I done now?
Jess: I was on your computer tod..
James: Ahem, you did flaming what?
Jess: I was on your computer today and found some
rather.... some rather....
Angus: Some naked pictures of women and some websites
containing sexual content.
Jess: Yes, exactly that.
James: So.....?
Jess: So? Is that all you can say? You have naked
pictures of women on your personal computer! That's it, I've
decided, the Internet connection's getting pulled as soon as
possible!
James: Oh for Gods sake you b****! It's no big deal!
Jess: Well, if that's the way you want it, you
computers being thrown out tomorrow! End of discussion. |
|

|
|
|
Kerry:
Come on, let's go bowling, take your mind off things.
Lauren: I'm really not in the mood Kerry.
Kerry: The cinema then? There's a new chick flick out
that sounds pretty good.
Lauren: Still no. I know you have good intentions but I
just can't.
Kerry: Let's just go for a spin then. |
|

|
|
|
Jess: Do you think
I did something wrong today?
Angus: What do you mean?
Jess: About James and his...
Angus: Porn?
Jess: Yes, pornography. Did I handle it right?
Angus: I honestly don't see the big deal with it but
if you think it's the right action to take then so be it.
Jess: So you back me up on it?
Angus: Yeah, I reckon so.
Jess: Thanks Angus, it means a lot. |

Of course, not everyone
lives their life the way they want to. Some of us spend
time, regretting our past actions, questioning why we do
things, hoping that life will work out in the end. |
|

|
|
|
Some of us just can't give
up our desire to know more, resulting in us questioning why
we become such nosey neighbours. |
|

|
|
And some of us,
those who move into a new house
in the dead of the night, give
those around us, a lot to
ask.... |
