Episode 6 - Just Deserts

Yes, life is such a simple concept, we enter the world, we leave the world, but what happens in between is what we make it. Some will have simple lives, some will have busy, some will have complicated, some will have hardworking. It is our lives that make us who we are and our decisions that construct our lives. Sometimes it can be easy to live with our lives and sometimes, it can be a nightmare, and that is why today, Lynda Anne Day, will do what she should have done from the day she married Michael Richard Day.

Mike: I'm so sorry about last night, I just flipped.
Lynda: Well, I was out of order, I insulted you
Mike: You still didn't deserve that, nobody ever does
Lynda: Well it's in the past now, and another thing, we're going to the pub for lunch
Mike: What?! Both of us?
Lynda: Yeah, why?
Mike: I slapped you last night and all you can say is 'we're going to the pub for lunch'!
Lynda: Just drop it Mike, don't you think I've suffered enough

Ken: Hi Lauren,
Lauren: Hey, what can I do for ya?
Ken: This is a safe street right?
Lauren: Yeah, what makes ya say that?
Ken: You haven't seen any burglaries or anything recently?
Lauren: No, none, why, is there something wrong?

Lynda: Now, lets just act like the happy couple we were.
Mike: Why are you putting on this fake happy act?
Lynda: To try and save our marriage, something which you aren't doing and obviously don't want!
Mike: Here we go again!

Ken: Well, you see, I think someone broke into my house
Lauren: Erm, well I didn't see anything
Ken: You sure?
Lauren: 100%. I didn't see anything
Ken: Well you see, I think that...

Lynda: HOW DARE YOU SLEEP WITH ANOTHER WOMAN!
Mike: Oh my God, calm down honey
Lynda: No I will not calm down! You slept with another woman.
Mike: You are unbelievable!
Lauren: Yeah, well at least I'm not desperate!
Mike: No, your a b*tch!

Mike: That's it! I've had enough!

Lynda: What you gonna do then? HIT ME LIKE YOU DID LAST TIME?!

Lynda: Yeah, that's right, walk away! You've go half an hour to pack you bags and leave forever. And if you still there when I get home, you'll wish you'd never set eyes on me!

Lynda: I think I'll need this drink.
Kerry: That was quite an unexpected outburst.
Lauren: Listen girls, lets go through the back, we need to talk. Dad, look after the bar will you?

Lauren: So he had a one night stand then.
Lynda: Yep. He even continued phoning her and when I told him to behave and keep it quiet all he could was brag.
Kerry: So you just found out today then?
Lynda: No, I've known for weeks now. I just snapped last night when he slapped me. I realised I couldn't humiliate him at home so I took him here.
Lauren: Well you've definitely attracted a lot of attention!

Lauren: Anyway, I'll have to get going, I've got something important to see to.
Kerry: Okay, we'll finish our coffees and leave, see you later.
Lynda: Yeah, bye, and thanks.
Lauren: It's no problem, see you two later.

Becky: I can't believe daddy had an affair!
James: Is he coming back?
Lynda: No, hopefully he's packed up and left. I'll go check to see if he's left anything.

Mike has returned home.

Mike: Aha! This is what I've been looking for! You humiliated me Lynda, now it's my turn!

Lynda: What the?! None of his stuff is gone. It's all here.
Mike: That's because I'm not going anywhere.

Lynda: I'll call the police if you don't get out.
Mike: (Laughs) Yeah you do that
Lynda: I don't see what's so funny.

Mike: Well I do.
Lauren: Just get out Mike before I through you out.
Mike: I'm going nowhere. You see, there's something I've left in the kitchen that came through the mail. And for you, it's got disaster written all over it. You won't be throwing me out just yet. First, I want you to get the kids and meet me in the living room. They have to know about this as well.

Liam: Mum? Dad? I've got some news, I've been accepted to go to Sim State University!

Karen: That's wonderful, it's brilliant!
Liam: I'm so happy.
Karen: Listen, lets' all go out for a drink, it's not too late yet.

Marie has been playing SSX3 for the past few hours.

Steve and Lexi are watching a film together.
Steve: So what's this about you living with Rik?
Lexi: I'm just living with him, he's looking after me because I'm pregnant, there's nothing else to it.
Steve: Is that all?
Lexi: What do you mean? I have no feelings for him. He might for me but I don't fancy him, I fancy you
Steve: Good. And I fancy you too.

Lexi: Come here you!
Lexi's phone starts to ring.

Lexi: Hi
Rik: Hi, it's me, when you coming home?
Lexi: I'm with Steve watching a film, I'll probably stay all night
Rik: Oh! But I thought..
Lexi: Though what?
Rik: Doesn't matter, you enjoy your film, I'll see you tomorrow, bye

Kerry is chatting on MSN Messenger. Someone has came to the door and is ringing the bell.

They are continually ringing the doorbell.
Kerry: Yeah, I'm coming, hold on a minute.

 

Kerry: Oh my God! Dave!

As the Smiths leave Sim Street for a night out, someone else arrives at their doorstep.

Lauren: Yeah Angel, you can do that, it would fab if you could print the Summer Ball leaflets out, I'll be home in a while. I've just got some important stuff to check into first.

Lauren is breaking into the Smiths again through the back door. After realising that Ken is suspicious, she has said to herself that this will be the last time she ever thinks about their hidden secret.

Lauren: This is the only room I don't know what's in so here goes.

Lauren: Bl**dy hell!! What the hell is this all about then?! I cannot believe this is what they did!
 

After realising the Smiths horrid past, she hears someone breaking the lock on the door and entering the house. She immediately leaves the room and checks on who has entered the house.

Kevin, the boyfriend of Kelly, has broken into her families houes.

Lauren: Why me?! Why does it always happen to me?

Downstairs, Kevin has started a fire in the kitchen. Within seconds of the fire starting, he has left the house to burn.


 

Upstairs, it isn't long before Lauren smells the smoke and is trapped as the fire spreads quickly.

The fire spreads, quickly destroying the kitchen. It isn't long before the fire spreads into the living room and up the stairs.

The fire has spread upstairs and is quickly burning the house down. Lauren is trapped in the small room.

Lauren: Can't breathe. Please help!

Lauren: Stupid mobile runs of battery! Need to get out.

Lauren: Bl**dy hell! HELP ME!! PLEASE, SOMEBODY!!

Back home, Rik is feeling depressed because Lexi is dating Steve when he has strong feelings for her. His feelings of sadness lead him to get very drunk whilst being very unstable.
Rik: She'll think twice again about dating other men and she'll soon see why.

Yes, our lives are complicated things, but if we have anybody to blame, it will always be ourselves. Our lives can be destroyed by such simple mistakes.

Some of us can be so confused with our lives, that it is hard to know where we stand and what to do.

On the other hand, some peoples lives can be so simple. A daily routine may be boring but it can make us so much happier in life.

Some of us can be so distraught that we want to end our lives to stop our pain and grief.

Other lives can be busy and full of partying, flirting and falling in love.

Of course, there are a few of us who like to know the ins and outs of other peoples
lives, we like to know everything that is happening and that can lead us to be in great trouble, a trouble that if we survive, we will never escape.
