Kelly has been at her computer for the past half hour. It's
half way through her school holidays and she has been
chatting on Internet chat rooms for most of the week. |

Karen: Kelly, it's lunch time, come and get it.
Kelly: But I'm busy. I'm speaking!
Karen: I don't care. I've told you to stop chatting.
Now come and get it! |

Kelly: I'm missing my old school mates.
Karen: You know you can't speak to them, it's too
risky.
Kelly: I know, safety comes first. But what if it's
just one person, I've got loads of friends who can keep
secrets.
Karen: It's not me who's stopping you Kelly, but you
know we'd just be moved again. Just move on. Get new friends
when the school goes back. That girl next door, Becky Day I
think, she seems nice enough.
Kelly: Just give me dinner.
Karen: No need to be snappy about it. |

James and Becky Day have been arguing for the last few
minutes.
Becky: James! That stinks! Stop farting now!
James: If you don't like it then get lost!
Becky: Mum, tell James to stop it now
Lynda: James! Go sit on the naughty step until you
calm down.
James: Mum, I'm not 3 years old
anymore.
Becky: Ha ha! (Laughs) |

Becky: Ouch James, your ruining my hair.
James: So?
Becky: I spent more than an hour doing it! Get off
me!
Lynda: James! If you don't get off your sister I'll
clean your room!
James: Fine, done, sorted. I'm off her. Just don't
clean my room. |

Its been 3 years since Kerry
met Dave. She is still trying to get over her divorce from
the summer of 2004.
Kerry: Why did you have to
leave? You've left me with close to nothing. I don't know if
it's hatred or heart break but I wish you'd never left!

Marie:
So you going to the party tonight?
Steve: No, I'll just stay in the night. Maybe watch a
film.
Marie: Your so boring, come on, it'll be a good laugh
and you never know, you might meet someone you like.
Steve: I'm definitely not going if this is just another
chance for you to try and get me a girlfriend.
Marie: Fine, have it your way, be boring! |

Lauren:
Hey dad, you going to be
helping out tonight?
Jack: Yeah sure.
Lauren: Thanks. I'm really nervous about performing.
Can't believe this is our first gig.
Jack: You'll be great, you always have been in
rehearsals.
Lauren: I only wish I share your confidence.
Jack: (Laughs)
Lauren: I'd better go get ready, see ya later. |

Lauren:
Come on guys! Lets get this party started!
Rik: Your in a different mood.
Angel: Yeah, what's up with you sis?
Lauren: Nothing, just want to get going with the gig
that's all. |

Lynda:
This is good. Getting out and having fun!
Mike: Yeah.
Lynda: We haven't been out in ages, I think we need to
start going out to restaurants and clubs again.
Mike: That would be nice, a change from home.
Lynda: Talking of dinner, I've still got dishes to
clean. Oooh, can't wait! |

Mike has stopped dancing and
is now chatting with Angel.
Angel:
So what's up with you?
Mike: Oh it's Lynda. She drags me here to have good
time yet she still talks about cleaning, in fact, that's all
she does, talks!
Angel: Erm... sorry to tell you Mike, but... |

Lynda:
So I dragged you here then did I? Did I pull you by the ear
and force you to come?
Mike: No, but....
Lynda: But nothing! If you'd rather spend your time
chatting up some young girl then be my guest.
Mike: I wasn't chatting her up, I was just talking.
Lynda: When you come home tonight don't go anywhere else
in the house apart from living room.
Mike: Why?
Lynda: Because that's where your sleeping! |

Mike:
I'm sorry about her, she can be like that
sometimes.
Angel: Yeah, but you did slag her off unexpectedly.
Mike: I suppose so, but I'm just fed up with her a lot
now. Things have changed.
Angel: Must only be behind closed doors because she
seems normal when she's out. Always being...
Mike: ...Perfect? Yep, that's all that matters to her.
Her and her perfect image. Nobody else comes into the
picture
Angel: Listen Mike, go home now, you've had more than
enough to drink, so have I.
Mike: Your right, come here give me a hug, you've talked
me round things tonight, I should go home and apologise. |

The party has finished and Karen is the only
guest still at the party. Lauren is the only member or the
Hill family still awake. She has been cleaning for the past
7 minutes. Karen is on the phone.
Karen: Yeah Dean.... Oh yeah, sorry Ken, it's this whole
new rules that are so annoying about name changes. We'll get
used to it though.... No, nobodies listening and yes, you
can come to the next party, I just don't trust the kids at
home alone, well, I do, but not when we've just moved
here..... Yeah, I'll see you in a few minutes, I'm just
helping Lauren tidy up, she's through the back now
though.... Yeah, bye, see you. |

Lauren has heard the
majority of Karen's phone call. Karen does not know that
Lauren is eavesdropping.
Lauren: (Whispers) Who's Dean, what's the rules for?
What are you hiding? |
